What is the event about?

Community Care Live is an essential learning and engagement opportunity which is free to attend for registered social workers and local authority directors, commissioners and workforce leads. The two-day event has a wide-ranging seminar programme and co-located exhibition where you’ll find key organisations in the sector including local authorities, service providers and charities. You can find out who you’ll see by checking our exhibitor list and floor plan.

Following feedback from delegates and increasing demand you can now reserve your place on our legal learning sessions. There will be a small charge for these sessions, as explained below.

Is the event still free to attend?

Community Care Live will continue to offer free entry to the venue and exhibition and to the main seminar programme for all registered social work professionals. For full details of who is eligible to attend for free please click here.

In addition to the free elements, following feedback from delegates and increasing demand, we have introduced the opportunity to reserve your space at all of our legal learning sessions. There is a fee of £29 + VAT for each of the eight legal sessions.

When registering online to attend Community Care Live you will be given the option to pre-book a place at the legal sessions. Please note entry to any legal learning sessions will only be available to those that have paid for the sessions.

Why are you charging for the legal learning sessions?

In previous years our legal sessions have seen demand exceed room capacity, leaving many delegates disappointed that they could not attend their chosen session(s). In light of this, along with delegate feedback and additional costs associated with inviting the very best legal experts to speak, we introduced a fee of £29 + VAT per seminar for the legal learning sessions at Community Care Live London in 2018.

Who should attend?

Community Care Live is offered free of charge to all registered social work professionals, thanks to the involvement of our sponsors and exhibitors. Delegates must be registered social work professionals, local authority social care commissioners or directors or those who work closely with these services. For full details on whether you are eligible to attend for free please click here. Individuals who do not meet this criteria but would still like to attend are welcome to do so, and will be required to pay the event delegate fee during the online registration process of £395 + VAT (payable by credit or debit card only).
If you have any queries, please email us or call on 020 3915 9444.

How can I register to attend?

Registration for Community Care Live London 2018 is available online (registration is not yet open for 2019) where you will complete a registration form. Registering for the event gives you free entry to the event on both days, access to the free seminar programme and free entry to the exhibition.

When registering you will be given the option of reserving and paying for a place at our legal learning sessions. Alternatively, you can register on the day but registering in advance will save you queuing on arrival.

Please note that entry to the eight legal learning sessions will only granted to those that have pre-paid, either in advance online or at the registration desk onsite.

How can I register for the legal learning sessions?

If you haven't already registered to attend Community Care Live please do so using the online form (registration is not yet open for 2019). Once you have completed your registration you will be given the option of booking your place on the legal learning sessions.

If you have already registered to attend Community Care Live you will have been sent an email confirmation. Within this email is a link to return to your account where you can add the legal learning sessions you wish to attend.

Any remaining available places can be booked and paid for on the day but we recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment.

Is an event guide available?

You will receive an online event guide via email a few weeks before the event with details of what’s on over the two days. The website will be updated as new sessions and speakers are added to the programme. You will receive a free printed copy of the event guide when you arrive.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is casual.

Should I bring my CV?

You can bring your CV to discuss with any exhibitors who are recruiting at the event.

Where do I pick up my badge?

Once online registration is completed you will receive an email confirmation. Please bring this email confirmation with you to the registration desk at the event, either printed out or easily visible on a mobile phone, where your badge will be printed for you. Your badge gives you access to both days.

Can I pre-book to attend sessions from the seminar programme?

All of our free to attend seminar sessions are available on a first come, first served basis only. There can be a high demand for space in our sessions so we suggest you arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of any session you want to attend.

Don’t forget that the legal learning sessions are paid for and should be booked online in advance, guaranteeing you entry into your selected sessions.

Is there a charge to attend Community Care Live?

For those that don’t qualify to attend the event for free there is an event entry fee of £395 + VAT, which allows you access to the exhibition and free seminar sessions (but not the legal learning sessions, which you can pay for in addition). You can find out more about our entry criteria here and if you have any additional queries, please email us or call on 020 3915 9444. Registration and payment can be taken on the day but doing so in advance will save queuing.
