The decision to legally intervene in a child’s family life is hugely significant, and will permanently affect the lives of the child, their parents and their family. This legal session will act as a refresher of how social workers can ensure their decision-making is clear, evidence-based and fair. Attend to:

  • Understand how to manage the 26-week timescales.
  • Learn about how the balance sheet approach can be used effectively.
  • Refresh your knowledge of how to evidence parental capacity to change.
