15:30 - 16:30

Fears surrounding the sharing of information can act as barriers when seeking to safeguard and protect the welfare of children and young people at risk of harm or neglect. Through a mix of exercises, this interactive session will help you consider the common ‘myths’ that can prevent appropriate sharing of information.

Attend to:

  • Test your knowledge about the myths and facts related to appropriate information sharing
  • Receive guidance on where and when disclosing information could or must trump consent, GDPR and data protection laws
  • Become more confident in guiding and educating other practitioners involved in safeguarding children
